Eva Jean Hutton McWilliams, 96, of Lake Forest, passed away on Sunday January 15, 2023 at Lake Forest Place. Eva was born on January 22, 1926 in Qulin Missouri, to Perry and Maggie Doyle. She graduated from Qulin High School. She moved to St. Louis where she met and married John Hutton. They moved to the Chicago area in search of better opportunity and remained there until John passed away in 1992. She later married Hershel McWilliams and returned to Missouri until Hershel’s death in 2004, at which time she moved back to the Chicago area. Eva was employed outside the home at a time when few women were, working for Allstate Insurance Company for over 35 years. She enjoyed travel and quiet time in her garden.

Eva was also preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Truman, JR, Lois (McWilliams) and Howard; and her son-in-law James (Jim) Boylan. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Boylan and by her special friend and caregiver, Lisa Wheeler. The Order of Christian Burial for Eva will begin with Visitation at 10:00, immediately followed by Mass at 11:00 at the Church of St. Patrick, 15000 W. Wadsworth, Wadsworth, IL. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
