Edna T. Wooding
Edna Therese Wooding, beloved daughter of the late Charles & Edna (nee Hollis) Wooding; Sister of the late John Wooding, the late Frances Wooding Heizler, and Phillip Wooding. She was Auntie Edna to 17 nieces and nephews, 36 great nieces and nephews, and many great great nieces and nephews.
Edna was a graduate of St. Sabina Grammar School, Mercy High School, Little Company of Mary School of Nursing, and Loyola University. Edna was an Enterostomal Therapy Nurse for many years. She was one of the first associates of the Little Company of Mary sisters. Edna enjoyed sewing, Scrabble, and baking. She was generous in giving her famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to all. Edna was a long time resident of Mercy Circle where she received compassionate and competent care.
Services will be on Friday, July 7, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 10621 S Kedvale Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Visitation at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
