Marcia Hidalgo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 71, after bravely fighting to the very end. Born on November 7, 1954, Marcia’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to family and community.

Marcia’s journey began in Ecuador, where she met and married the love of her life, Vicente Hidalgo. Together, they forged a beautiful 51-year marriage filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their union was blessed with three children: Angelino, Cristian, and Boris, with whom Marcia and Vicente shared countless cherished memories. Two of their sons were born in Ecuador before the family embarked on a new chapter in the United States, where their youngest, Boris, was born.

For 38 years, Marcia’s hard work and commitment shone brightly at Oxxford Clothes factory. Her dedication was not only evident in her professional life but also in the way she nurtured and inspired her family. She was the bedrock of the Hidalgo family, always moving forward, striving to be a better person, and encouraging those around her to do the same.

Marcia had an extraordinary gift for bringing joy and warmth to everyone she encountered. Her kind smile was a beacon of light, and her cooking, art, and thoughtful gifts were tokens of her endless kindness and generosity. She had an innate ability to uplift others, ensuring that those around her never settled for less than their best. Her gentle encouragement emboldened her family and friends to face life’s challenges with strength and grace.

Her legacy lives on in her devoted husband, Vicente, her loving children, Angelino, Cristian, and Boris, and her four treasured grandchildren, who will carry forward her love and values. Marcia’s spirit, characterized by her compassion and strength, will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we remember Marcia, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and an unyielding spirit. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, a reminder of the profound impact one life can have on many. May she rest in peace, knowing she made the world a brighter place for all who knew her.
