Anthony Doran

Anthony Doran, a native of Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, Ireland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 30, 2026, at the age of 96.
Born one of eleven children, Anthony came to the United States, where he met and married his beloved wife, the late Lorraine “Kay”.
Loving father of the late Thomas (Nancy), Mary Pat, and James (Maureen).
Proud grandfather of T. (Julie), Markus (Maria), Sean (Lisa) Brown, Jimmy, Declan Brown, Timmy, Noleen Brown, and the late Katelyn Brown.
Cherished great-grandfather of Maeve, Presly, Miles, and TJ.
Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Anthony was a lifelong member of the Pioneer Association and a retired member of Local 399.
Visitation Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st, Orland Park, IL to St. Linus Church, 103rd and Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn for Mass at 12:30 p.m. A live stream link will be available just prior to Mass.
