Michael Edward Hughes, age 61 of Chicago, retired Local 399 Engineer (C-Man) for the City of Chicago Water Department, passed away April 2, 2021. Beloved husband of Angie (nee Castillo); Loving father of Tony (Leah) Castillo and Myles Hughes; Devoted canine father of Kooky; Proud grandpa of Ryan, Brooke, and Colin Castillo; Dear brother of Peggy (Jim) Moss, Joyce (Dan) Haskins; the late Patty (Packy) Norris; Cherished son of Eileen Hughes and the late Edward Miles Hughes; Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews; Loyal friend to many. Visitation Tuesday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge; Funeral service Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment Private.
