Rita Hanrahan
OCTOBER 4, 1916 – OCTOBER 31, 2021
Rita T. Hanrahan, nee Leahy, age 105, of Chicago and Ballydonoghue, Tarbert, Co. Kerry, Ireland, passed away on October 31, 2021. Devoted wife of 40 years to the late Kevin M. Hanrahan. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anna Leahy, her brothers, Gerald and Edward Leahy, and her sister, Kathleen O’Loughlin. She will be mourned by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family. Services for Rita will be on Thursday, November 4, at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 6200 S Lawndale, Chicago, where a visitation will take place from 9:45 – 10:30 AM, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Medical Missionaries, 9590 Surveyor Ct, Manassas, VA 20110.
