John V. Hylka, passed away peacefully at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved dad to Christopher, Nicholas and Matthew. Son to Vernon and the late Josephine “Jozia” Hylka, nee Lucente. Brother to Dina (Tom) Krska, the late Pamela Kuyper and Jody Hylka. Grandson to the late John and Helen Lucente and the late John and Veronica Hylka. Nephew to Rino (late Diane) Bellan, Collette Hylka and the late Adriann Hylka. Uncle to Ryan (fiancée Lauren) Kotula, Emalee Kotula, Aidan Calvert and Kolton Kuyper. Friend and cousin to many. John always brought laughs to our daily lives with his silly facebook posts. He loved wrestling, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago White Sox. Visitation Thursday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.; Funeral Friday, 10:15 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge to Our Lady of the Ridge Church, 108th & Oxford Ave, Chicago Ridge; Mass 11:00 a.m.;
