Willa Holmes Brown, age 106, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Willis F. Brown; loving mother of Willis III (Ruby) Brown, Gregory (Leatha) Brown and a mother to her “#3 sons” Mac and Frank; cherished grandmother of Paul Webb, Gregory Brown and Willis E. Brown; proud great grandmother of Paul, Patrick, Paycence, Parnell, Paige, and William; dear great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Willa’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 a pre-past/visitation 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
