Marvin Bilfeld
Marvin Bilfeld, also known as Jaju, age 85, beloved husband of Trudy for 60 years, loving father of Lisa (Todd) Warren, Stacy (Mike) Kirchheimer, Burton Bilfeld, and David (Nicole) Bilfeld, adoring grandfather of Zachary (Dani), Harrison, Cameron, Taylor, Hanna, Hope, and Lennon, brother of Anna (Myron) Moscovitch, adoring Uncle of Erik, Samantha (Shalom), and Jonathan (Leah), adoring son of the late Shapsa and Malka Bilfeld. Born a year before the start of WWII, Marvin was a Holocaust survivor. After World War II, his family lived in displacement camps and immigrated to the U.S. in 1951. Marvin was a self-made man and owned a construction company for over 40 years. Marvin loved his family. This was above all his greatest priority. Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12 Noon, at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home located at 111 Skokie Blvd Wilmette, Il 60091. Private interment for family to follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Shiva will be held at the home of Lisa and Todd Warren, 1879 Shelley Court, Highland Park, Illinois on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
