Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo D’Agostino; loving mother of Anna Maria (Tom) Gallios and Giuseppee (Kathryn) D’Agostino; cherished grandmother of Isabella, Sophia, and Liliana D’Agostino; devoted daughter of the late Giovanni and Rosa Cafaro; dearest sister of Antonio (AnnaMaria) Cafaro, Emiddio (Grazia) Cafaro, Teresa (Pietro) Pessolano, and Ugo (Eliana) Cafaro; dear sister-in-law of Nicolina (Frank) Milito, the late Vincenzina (the late Ciro) Buccino and the late Marco D’Agostino; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  

Angela was a talented seamstress who left an indelible mark on the world with her exquisite craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic. Born in Auletta, Italy, Angela was a shining example of determination and resilience, making her mark not only in Italy but here in the United States.  Angela’s dedication to her craft was unparalleled, earning her success and recognition throughout her career. Her hard work and passion for sewing were evident in every stitch she made, captivating all who had the privilege of witnessing her creations.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing her family above all else. She was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to her loved ones, embodying the true spirit of a hard-working go-getter. 

Angela was also extremely religious and dedicated to the Catholic Church. She found solace and purpose in her faith and drew strength from her religious convictions.  As an integral part of who she was, her faith guided her actions and relationships with those around her.

Among Angela’s proudest accomplishments was her unwavering commitment to providing a better life for her two children. She worked tirelessly to build a successful future for them, instilling in them the values of a good education, hard work, perseverance, and integrity.

While we mourn the loss of Angela, we also celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will live on through the beautiful garments she created and the lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.

Angela’s spirit will continue to inspire all those who knew her, reminding us to approach life with passion, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to our loved ones. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy will endure for generations to come.

Visitation Thursday, June 6th from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael’s Church Old Town, 1633 North Cleveland Ave. Chicago. Entombment Maryhill Cemetery.
