Alan D. Kovitz, 90, of Glencoe. Beloved husband of Nancy R. Kovitz, nee Freed; loving father of Samuel (Kirsten Laurin-Kovitz) Kovitz; Kathryn (Patrick J. Arnold Jr.) Kovitz Arnold; proud grandfather of Eliot (Jacob Simeral) Kovitz, Kyle Kovitz, Alexandra (Michael Murphy) Arnold and Julianne Arnold; caring brother of the late Barbara (late Joel) Kaminsky and the late Sidney Kovitz. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Shiva will be held at the home of Kathryn and Patrick Arnold, 1164 Hutchings Ave., Glenview, IL 60025, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to J.U.F. (juf.org) are appreciated.
