Beloved wife of the late Harold. Loving Mother of Starr (William) Stixrud and Gary (Pamela) Schwartz. Adoring grandmother of Jora (Paul) La Fontaine, Elliott (Kelly) Stixrud, Melissa (Andrew) Green, and Jared Schwartz. Proud great-grandmother Charlotte La Fontaine, Miriam La Fontaine, Jonah La Fontaine, and Harrison Stixrud. Treasured sister of Zenida (William) Kaufman and Maurice (Estelle) Slivnick. Caring aunt of Sandy (Marianna) Kaufman, Lisa Kaufman, Bruce (Judy) Slivnick, David (Barbara) Slivnick, Sari (William) London, Steve (Karyn) Brodsky, and Martin (Lisa) Brodsky. Dear friend to many.
Anita resided in Chicago until her retirement where she attended Von Steuben High School before marrying and raising her family. She worked with great success and reputation in various positions, her last position being managing a fashion show room in the Chicago Apparel Mart.
She loved traveling and spending time with family and friends throughout her life, and making new friends wherever she called home.
