Loving father of Bernard Jr. (Amy Miller), Michael (Donna Sicher), Morgan (Kathryn Donovan), and Joseph Murphy.
Adoring grandfather of Hannah, Cara, Michael, Matthew, the late Grace, Declan, Madeline, Emily, Morgan, Bennett Anne, and Margaret Julia.
Dear brother of the late Mary Rita (Robert) Stump, the late Morgan (the late Charlene) Murphy, the late Carol Ann R.S.M., the late Jane (the late Raymond Holmes), and the late Rev. John Michael Murphy.
Brother-in-law of Phyllis (Al) Wieher, Judy (Frank) O’Hare, Terry (Kevin) McGinnis, Nancy (the late Jimmy) McDermott, and Michael (Jean) Duggan.
Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Saturday, April 10, 2021, 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 9235 S. Hamilton, Chicago, IL.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernard’s name to the scholarship funds of St. John Fisher, Most Holy Redeemer, Brother Rice, Marist, or Mother McAuley High School would be appreciated.
