Brian Yeates
Brian Raymond Yeates, age 73, passed away on April 1, 2021. The Belfast native, was a longtime resident of Mokena. Brian was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathy Yeates nee Kelly of 48 years. Loving father to Bryan (Heather McNitt) Yeates and Colleen (Patrick) Valenti. Cherished Papa to Liam Kondelik, Olivia Yeates, and Carly Valenti. Son of the late Herbert and Betty (Lemon) Yeates. Fond brother of Douglas (Grace) Yeates, Paul (Gillian) Yeates, Alan (Carmen) Yeates, Roy Yeates, Colin (Yokwon) Yeates and the late Beryl (the late George) Brice. Brian was a loving brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather, neighbor, and friend to many. Growing up his children nicknamed him MacGyver, as he could fix almost everything. In his spare time, he could be found working in his garage, enjoying a motorcycle ride, or taking a walk with his grandkids or dogs. Brian had a kind spirit, a love for animals and cared for many over the years.
Help us celebrate Brian’s life on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 3:00pm at Fox’s Pizza & Irish Pub located at 11247 W. 187th St. Mokena, IL 60448. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
