Donna Raclaw
FEBRUARY 10, 1943 – NOVEMBER 4, 2021

Donna M. Raclaw (a.k.a. Donna Marie, Aunt Donna, AD) was born in Chicago on February 10, 1943 to Edward M. and Della M. (Mathew) Fortaw. She graduated from Loreto Englewood High School, Chicago and in 1965 from College of St Francis in Joliet IL with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Della Fortaw, her sister Marlene L. Schuler and her nephew Keith E. Schuler. She is survived by her brother in-law Thomas R. Schuler of Sterling, IL; her nieces and nephews Mark A. (Rachael) Schuler of Charlotte, NC, Craig T. Schuler (Jennifer) of Naperville, IL, Thad D. Schuler (Tricia) of St. Louis, MO, Monica L. Belby (Erik) of Davenport, IA, Melaine T. Pohlman (Nicholas) of Geneva, IL, Audra M. Schuler of Chicago, IL and 18 great nieces and nephews.
Donna was a long-time marketing research professional in Chicago. She loved Chicago and was an avid Chicago sports fan. Driving on Lake Shore Drive with the convertible top-down listening to Melissa Manchester brought her much happiness. She loved crafting and spending time with her nieces and nephews and could always be counted on for some sharp wit. Donna was a city gal, an active member of her homeowner’s association and volunteered at the Holy Family food pantry often. She also loved spending time on the beach in South Padre, TX.
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 10th at Holy Family Church, 1080 W Roosevelt Road Chicago, IL. Followed by a celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL immediately following.
