Evangelia Kyroudis (nee Kourmoulakis) age 89 of Oak Lawn and formerly of Vafes, Crete, Greece, passed away peacefully Monday morning in her sleep at home with family; Beloved wife of the late Aristotelis for 54 years; Loving mother of George (Jill) Kyroudis and Maria (William) LaFleur; Cherished grandmother of Alexis, Christina, Evangeline (Jack), Andrew, and Sophia. Devoted daughter of the late Andreas and Eleftheria Kourmoulakis; Dearest sister of Maria, and the late Nickolaos, Anna, Antonia, Ioannis, Irini, Georgios, Zaharenia, Antonios and Efthemia; Dear sister-in-law of Georgia (George), Evangelia (the late Rigas), Angela (Steve), and the late Emmanuel (the late Demetra); Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Evangelia had a deep devotion for both her family and her Church. “May Her Memory Be Eternal”. Visitation will be held Monday morning March 28th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Funeral Service will begin promptly at 12:00.
