John G. McBride, age 96, of Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Scales); loving father of Mary Kaye McBride; devoted son of the late Mary (nee Durnin) and Thomas McBride; dear brother of the late Mary (the late Jack) Ryan, Delia (the late James) McDonald, Harry (the late Aggie) McBride, Brother Paddy McBride, James (the late Marie) McBride; Kathleen (the late Pat) King and twin Terry (the late Peadar) McEneaney; dearest brother-in-law of the late Robert (the late Sue) Scales, Rita Scales, Joe (the late Sally) Scales, Kathleen (the late Chester) Moss and George (Christine) Scales; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear friend of Mary Quinn. John was 48-year long friend of Bill W. After retiring from his work as a machinist with the Water Reclamation District of Chicago, John became an avid golfer and loved to work on his water color paintings. Visitation Friday 3-8 P.M.
