Kenneth “Ken” Miller

Dr. Kenneth “Ken” Miller, 79. Beloved husband of Beatrice “Trissy,” nee Lerner; devoted father of Missy (Steve) Kanter, Matt (Rosa Karbowiak) Miller, Shannon (Donny Sheridan) Miller, and Sammi Simon; treasured grandfather of Charlie, Izzy, and Louie Kanter, Sam, Isaac, and Henry Miller, Sadie, Rose, Clara, Elsie, and Freddy Sheridan, Dori and Jack Simon; cherished brother of Stuie (Lori) Miller; caring uncle of Bryon and Nicole Miller and many other nieces and nephews; loving dogdad of Neph (and many past canine children). Dr. Miller was a prominent nephrologist in the Chicagoland area for over 40 years. He would teach and lecture all over the world. Ken would devour books (and food!) and adored spending time with his grandchildren. He was the beloved camp doctor at Menominee in Wisconsin for many years. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral service Thursday, Aug. 18, 10:30 AM, at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nate Wasserman Camp Fund, www.natewasserman.com.
