From an early age, Michelle exhibited an admirable work ethic and a strong familial connection, working alongside her father at his paper stand from the age of 12 or 13. This experience not only instilled in her a sense of responsibility but also sowed the seeds of perseverance, allowing her to save diligently for the down payment on her first home.

Known as an exceptional griller, one of her most cherished gifts was a smoker, which she embraced with a warmth that mirrored her personality. Her laughter and humor brightened the lives of her family and friends, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Her fondness for camping and fishing led her to annual trips to Boyd’s in Wisconsin—a highlight that she anticipated eagerly each year. A lover of travel, her remarkable adventures included memorable excursions to Las Vegas and an unforgettable vacation to Turks and Caicos.

A talented athlete, Michelle excelled in sports, being a star basketball player in high school while also enjoying softball and bowling, all the while being an avid supporter of her favorite teams—the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Green Bay Packers.

Her fondness for bourbon took her on various adventures along the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky, where she cultivated an impressive collection. Additionally, she found joy in the Magic of Disney. Her favorite character, Mickey Mouse, revealed the joyful and playful side of her personality.

As a beacon of kindness and generosity, Michelle’s warm heart resonated profoundly within her circle. She cherished time spent with family and friends, imparting laughter and love at every gathering. Her innate ability to perceive the silver lining amidst adversity highlighted her strength; she consistently reminded others of the importance of resilience, facing challenges with unparalleled courage and a radiant smile that inspired those around her.
