Mary T. McGinnis, nee McMahon, 84, Native of County Clare, Ireland; Beloved wife of 35 years to the late Michael “Jack” McGinnis; Devoted mother of Timothy (Donna Barnett) McGinnis, Jack (Jennifer) McGinnis, Maureen (James) Waters, Margaret (Anthony) Colucci, Sean (Michelle) McGinnis, and Patsy (Donald) Carey; Proud grandmother of 22; Great-grandmother of 2; Dear daughter of the late Timothy and Helen McMahon; Cherished sister of Patsy (late Noel) Culligan, and Timothy (late Belle) McMahon; Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Fond friend to many. Mary was a respected employee of Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, where she worked for many years and broke tradition as the first female waitress hired among an all-male staff. Mary was a proud member of Chicago Gaelic Park and longtime charity worker for Neat Repeats. Visitation Thursday, January 23, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Funeral Friday, 8:30 a.m. from Curley Funeral home to St. Linus Church, 10300 Lawler Ave., Mass 9:30 a.m.;
