Peter F. Hughes, age 75, Native of Curraroe, County Mayo, Ireland. Beloved husband of Norine, nee Connelly. Loving father of Maura (Matthew) Biszewski. Doting grandpa of Liam and Kyle. Dear brother of Michael, James, Margaret, Catherine, Thomas, Richard and the late Agnes, Patrick, Mary and John. Fond uncle, cousin and in-law to many. Retired Member of IBEW with many years of dedicated service to The P & T and AT&T. Member of St. Christina Holy Name Society, past officer of Chicago Mayo Association and St. Brendan’s Football Club. Lifelong supporter of the Mayo GAA and Chicago Cubs. Funeral Friday 10:45 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home; 10415 S. Kedzie Ave. to St. Christina Church Mass 11:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Masses appreciated. 773-779-4411
