Proud “Papa” of Richard III (Carly), Abby, Marty, Nolan, Lizzie, Anna, Emmett, and Orla.
Dear brother of Marie (the late Robert) Child, the late Thomas (the late Jean), and the late Jack (the late Beverly) O’Brien.
Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Best friend to his canine companion, Lucy.
Rich was also loved and will be dearly missed by his many relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Alumnus of St. Sabina Grammar School, Leo H.S., and Loyola University Chicago.
Longtime Parishioner of Christ the King Parish.
Rich was a car fanatic and profound storyteller.
Family and friends will meet at Christ the King Church, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave., Chicago, IL 60643 on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, for visitation 3:00pm-6:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 6:00pm.
Private Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
