The Wedding of Cyatharine Alias & Jorge Santana

Hi everyone, thanks so much for joining us virtually. We are so incredibly thankful for having you be a part of our lives in whatever chapter of our relationship it was: pre-getting to know each other, while we were friends, when we started dating, long-distance, close-by, or during COVID-19.
As some of you know, Jorge and Cyatharine met because of the Summer Urban Program (when Cyatharine went to an informational session that Jorge was at). What many of you don’t know is that they became friends because Jorge didn’t hire Cyatharine, and during the STRIDE program, Cyatharine decided to become friends with her enemy. They were just friends for a while; it wasn’t until other PBHA friends started making jokes or comments about them that the idea even appeared, first in Cyatharine’s brain. Then Cyatharine’s roommate, Shakkaura, gave Cyatharine the courage to reach out to Jorge, and now y’all are attending their wedding!
Our relationship is the fruit of our community’s care for us and our care for community. We are thankful to God for all the patience, forgiveness, and compassion that has been showered on us and cultivated in us. We know marriages aren’t easy, and neither are friendships. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication and even more joy and laughter, and we learned a piece of that from each of you. Thanks again and we hope you all are safe. Love you and enjoy watching the ceremony. We hope to catch up with y’all at some point after COVID, but please hit us up via telecommunications so we can talk in the meantime. 馃檪

Hola a todos, muchas gracias por acompa帽arnos virtualmente. Estamos incre铆blemente agradecidos por tenerte como parte de nuestras vidas en cualquier cap铆tulo de nuestra relaci贸n: antes de conocernos, mientras 茅ramos amigos, cuando empezamos a salir, a larga distancia, cuando estabamos cerca, o durante COVID-19.
Como algunos de ustedes saben, Jorge y Cyatharine se conocieron debido a un programa de verano (cuando Cyatharine fue a una sesi贸n informativa en la que estaba Jorge). Lo que muchos de ustedes no saben es que ellos se hicieron amigos porque Jorge no contrat贸 a Cyatharine, y durante el programa STRIDE, Cyatharine decidi贸 hacerse amiga de su enemigo. Fueron solo amigos por un tiempo; no fue hasta que otros amigos de PBHA comenzaron a hacer bromas o comentarios sobre ellos que la idea apareci贸, primero en el cerebro de Cyatharine. Luego, la amiga de Cyatharine, Shakkaura, le dio a Cyatharine el valor para acercarse a Jorge, 隆y ahora todos ustedes est谩n viendo nuestra boda!
Nuestra relaci贸n es el fruto del cuidado de nuestra comunidad por nosotros y nuestro atenci贸n por comunidad. Les damos las gracias a Dios por toda la paciencia, el perd贸n y la compasi贸n que El nos ha dado y cultivado en nosotros. Sabemos que los matrimonios no son f谩ciles y tampoco las amistades. Se necesita mucho trabajo duro y dedicaci贸n e incluso m谩s alegr铆a y risa, y aprendimos un poco de eso de cada uno de ustedes. Gracias y esperamos que todos est茅n seguro. Los queremos mucho y disfrute viendo la ceremonia.
