Age 67; Passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 1, surrounded by his wife and children; Devoted husband of Janet, nee Gorman; Loving father of Kevin MPD, Erin (Clinton) Polz, and Jennifer (fiancé Kyle Yerington); Proud Bubba of Michael Polz; Beloved brother of Marc (Sherry), Peggy Durbala, Susan Harty, the late Terry, and the late Steve; Dear son-in-law of Joseph Ret. CPD (late Mary Lou) Gorman; Fond brother-in-law of Joseph Ret. CPD (Mary Kay), James CFD (Eileen), Patrick (Jeanne), William Ret. CPD / U.S. Army (Marguerite), Thomas Ret. CPD (Michelle), and Meghan (Patrick) Nolan; Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many; Scot proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a skilled carpenter and always had a home-improvement project in process. He loved to travel, especially to Ireland. He will be most remembered for the love he shared with his family, Irish heritage, sense of humor, and legendary dance moves. Visitation Sunday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL; Funeral Monday, all family and friends will meet directly at St. Cajetan Church, 112th St. & Artesian Ave., Chicago, IL; Mass 10:00 a.m.;
