Steve Friedman, 58. Devoted and beloved husband of Marci, nee Fromm; deeply loving and loved father of Rebecca and Jordan Friedman; adored son of Evelyn “Evie” and the late Norman Friedman and treasured son-in-law of Judi and Zellmer Fromm; cherished brother of Lisa (Michael) Miner and brother-in-law of Stacy (Guy) Shaham; caring uncle of Alex (Rebecca) Miner, Ethan Miner, and Aviv, Maya, and Oren Shaham; dearest dogdad of Crosby and Teddy. Steve was a cherished friend and mentor to those drawn to him by his massive heart, giving spirit, contagious humor, and full embrace of love and all that life had to offer. He will be missed by countless lifelong friends and leaves an empty space in the hearts and lives of so many. Funeral service Thursday, Feb. 16, 1 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
