“Papa Sam” age 72 of Alsip, IL United States Navy Veteran and Local 399 retiree passed away on 1/25/2022 in loving memory of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. Survived by his wife and 6 children. Wife Sharon Baltrusis…Children-Samuel Baltrusis, Angie (Stacy) Baltrusis-Brown, Jeniffer (Chris) Baltrusis/Martin, Joseph (Brianna) Baltrusis, Jacob (Kristina) Baltrusis, Jaclyn (Phillip) Wallerich. Siblings – Candace (Donald Deceased) Marevka, Loretta (Deceased)/ Steve Knize, Daniel (Gayle) Baltrusis. Loved Uncle to many and Papa Samoli to 20 of the most loved grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by Father and Mother Samuel and Betty Baltrusis. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave, Worth, IL. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
