Native of Minacree, Rearcross, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
Beloved husband of the late Elsa Quigley (nee Murphy) of Dublin, Ireland.
Loving father of Jack (Julie Cutler) Quigley, Mark (the late Sharon Gillerman) Quigley, and the late Philip Quigley.
Cherished grandfather of Ana Quigley and Maya Gillerman-Quigley.
Proud son of the late Phil and Kate Quigley.
Dear brother of Angela Quigley (Tipperary, Ireland), the late Rodge Quigley, Tess (Hugh) McGloin (Dublin, Ireland), and Norrie Quigley.
Fond cousin and friend to many.

Sean was a proud US Navy veteran who sailed the Seven Seas aboard the USS Wisconsin. He built many strong relationships with colleagues at the First National Bank of Chicago where he worked for 30 years.
Since his arrival in 1955, Sean was a pillar of Chicago’s southside Irish community and played an important role in keeping the Irish sport of hurling alive in the US.
He was a longtime member of the Chicago Harry Boland’s Hurling Club and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). He was also an usher at Most Holy Redeemer Church and an avid gardener.

Funeral Friday June 18th, at 9:45 a.m. from Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 4950 West 79th St., Burbank to Most Holy Redeemer Church 9525 S. Lawndale, Evergreen Park for a Mass of the Resurrection 10:30 a.m.
