Teunis “Tom” Vander Vliet, age 89, beloved husband for 56 years to the late Johanna “Jo” Vander Vliet, nee Van Diggelen (2010). Loving father of Helen (Kenneth) Socha, Thomas (Mary) Vander Vliet and Wilma (David) Persenaire. Cherished Opa of Thomas and John (Cynthia) Vander Vliet; and Melissa (Earl) Bloom and Anna (Davis) Konynenbelt. Dearest great-grandfather of Russell, Avalina and Katalina. Fond brother of Wilhelmina (Andre) Willems and the late Benjamin (Pol) Vander Vliet. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Tom was the proud owner and operator of Westdale Foods Company, Bridgeview, IL for over 50 years.

Visitation Monday, April 26, 2021 at Calvary Church of Oak Lawn, 10056 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 from 10 a.m. to 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. A live-stream of the service will be available.
