Loving father of Gene M. (Claire), Susan (Joseph) Gurgone, David (Jill), Laurie (Allen) Finley, Joan (Don) McClive, and Matthew (Angela).
Proud grandfather of Sarah, Megan, Alana, Lauren, Joseph A., Kristina, Julia, Gracie, Brenden, Bailey, Kyle, Natalie, Olivia, and Luke.
Cherished great-grandfather of Kaden.
Dear brother of Joanne, Janet, and Joseph.
Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Gene loved cars, sports and especially his grandchildren. He was very active in both his parishes and his children’s schools. Fondly remembered as a teaser by his grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers 10:45 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, to St. Michael Church, Mass 11:30 a.m.
Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery
